Travis Farncombe

CEO

As CEO and founding partner of Skywild Pictures, Travis sets a bold vision for storytelling through exceptional creative content, and establishes the capacity to execute with excellence.

Skywild is founded on the values of creativity and collaboration through the art of scripted narratives, working with the best creative voices in the industry today.

Travis is a writer, producer and executive producer and believes in the power of television and film to delight, transform and transport us.

Angela Jennings

PRESIDENT

As President and founding partner, Angela oversees the company’s stakeholder relations and corporate development, in addition to managing creative, financial and legal strategies, and daily operations. She brings more than 25 years’ experience to her role at Skywild Pictures, having built two thriving independent production companies from the ground up and producing best-in-class hit shows for audiences worldwide. Working in both Canada and the US, Angela has held positions as corporate president, executive producer and showrunner, producing more than 700 hours of blockbuster content created for commissioners across North America and distributed in more than 100 countries globally. She has successfully negotiated long-running partnerships with Amazon Studios and Prime Video, Bell Media, Fremantle, Banijay, Warner Bros Discovery, Corus Entertainment, Rogers Sports and Media and more.

Tom Hastings

VP DEVELOPMENT

Award-winning and well-respected creative executive, Tom joins Skywild Pictures as Vice-President, Development, where his focus is the development and production of all original scripted series and features. Tom brings unparalleled experience creating highly acclaimed, scripted content, including in his prior roles as Head of Original Programming at Paramount+ Canada, Director of Drama at Bell Media, and Creative Head of Drama CBC. Successes under his tenure include international Emmy award nominated series Cardinal (CTV), acclaimed medical procedural Transplant (NBC, Bell Media), as well as Wynonna Earp (Syfy, Space), 19-2 (Bravo, CTV), Being Erica (CBC), and Arctic Air (CBC). With extensive and long-standing relationships in the independent production and literary communities, Tom is well-known and respected amongst top writers, producers, showrunners and agents.

Natalie Urquhart

Director of Scripted

Natalie Urquhart is the Director of Scripted at SkyWild Pictures, where she oversees the company’s scripted slate and leads the identification and acquisition of market-aligned IP. With over 15 years of industry experience, Natalie focuses on developing bold, high-concept features and series that bridge the gap between creative vision and commercial viability.
Previously, she spent six years as Director of Development at Wildling Pictures, where her credits included the CSA-winning Suze and TIFF 2024 selections Paying For It and Young
Werther. Her background also includes serving as Associate Producer on the hit series Suits, alongside development roles at Amaze Film + Television and Blue Ant Media.
An alumna of the CFC Producers Lab and USC, Natalie holds an Osgoode Certificate in Entertainment Law, bringing a unique blend of creative and business expertise to her role at SkyWild.

Olivia Tharme

Manager of Scripted Development

As Manager of Scripted Development at Skywild Pictures, Olivia is responsible for scouting and packaging the company’s premium slate, while fostering collaborative relationships with writers and industry professionals.
Previously, she held roles at legacy Canadian media companies eOne, Lionsgate, and Rogers Sports & Media. With a background rooted in both the craft and the theory of storytelling, Olivia holds a BFA in classical performance and a MA Media Production from Toronto Metropolitan University. Her graduate work in comedy development and television scholarship provides a specialized framework for her work as a creative producer.
